Bronsun Hybrid Dye Guide
We're excited to bring Bronsun Professional's Eyelash & Eyebrow Gel Dye into the Posh Deluxe range — a hybrid, ammonia-free tint trusted by lash and brow artists for its expressive colour and long-lasting hold.
Unlike standard dyes that colour hair alone, Bronsun's hybrid formula tints both hair and skin in a single application, giving an expressive, richly pigmented finish that lasts up to 7 days on skin and up to 7 weeks on hairs. It's gentle enough to use during eyelash lamination and long-term brow perm, and the formula is stabilised with new-generation antioxidants for a consistent result every time.
Why Lash & Brow Artists Love Bronsun Dye
Impressive longevity — up to 7 days on skin, up to 7 weeks on hairs.
Ammonia-free formula — gently affects hairs and skin without overdrying.
Highly-pigmented colorant — tints both hairs and skin for an expressive, intense finish.
Stable formula — enhanced with new-generation antioxidants for consistent performance.
Convenient consistency — creamy, easy to apply, spreads evenly, and won't leak.
Unlimited opportunities — 8 trendy shades that work beautifully pure or mixed, for natural or graphic tinting.
The System: Dye + Developer
Bronsun's tinting result is controlled with purpose-built cream developers. Both mix cleanly with the dye for a homogeneous, leak-free consistency.

Heads up: individual dye tubes don't include a mixing stick or mixing cup — grab these separately before your appointment.
How to Apply — Step by Step
1. Prepare
Cleanse and degrease the eyebrows and eyelashes with an oil-free product. Bronsun's prep range makes this easy:
- Eyebrow Shampoo (Patchouly & Amber) or Eyebrow Mousse Cleanser (Rose & Sandal) — cleansing
- Eyebrow Primer (Musc & Vanilla) or Eyebrow & Eyelash Saline Solution — degreasing
- Skip scrubs and peels — they're not suitable for prepping the area.
2. Protect
Apply protective gel or white mapping paste around the eyebrows, avoiding the zone you're about to tint. Around the eyes, apply a thin layer of protective gel and set protective pads along the lower lash line, keeping lower lashes lifted clear of the pads.
3. Mix
In a non-metallic cup, combine cream developer and gel dye in a strict 1:1 ratio until fully homogeneous — roughly 0.5 cm of dye to an equal amount of developer. Apply straight away; the mixture is only good for up to 20 minutes once mixed.
4. Apply
With a brush, apply a thin, even layer to the eyebrows quickly and confidently, following the desired shape and lifting the hairs to fully tint the skin underneath. Keep those lines crisp.
For eyelashes, apply carefully and evenly with the client's eyes closed throughout.
5. Time it right
- Eyebrows: 7–20 minutes, depending on desired intensity
- Eyelashes: 10–15 minutes
More exposure = more intensity. Keep an eye on progress as you go.
6. Remove
Once time's up, remove the dye with a wet cotton pad and rinse thoroughly with water. Don't let the client open their eyes until all dye is fully removed from the lashes.
7. Fix any slip-ups
Skin tinted where it shouldn't be? Apply a small amount of Dye Remover to a cotton swab and gently rub the area. Repeat if needed, then rinse.
8. Aftercare
Tell clients to avoid water on the area for 24 hours, and to steer clear of scrubs, peels, alcohol-based products, and steam (baths/saunas) for a few days after.
Finish the Look
- Eyebrow Conditioner — cleanses residue and helps stabilise colour on skin
- Eyebrow Color Fixing Lotion — locks in the finished colour while caring for hairs and skin
- Dye Remover — corrects flaws, lightens results, or creates a smooth gradient finish
