Step 1: Cleanse the Lashes
Start by cleansing your client’s natural lashes with an oil-free lash cleanser. This removes any oils, makeup, and residue that can interfere with bonding, giving you a clean base for optimal retention.
Step 2: Secure the Bottom Lashes
Apply Posh Deluxe Eye Pads under the eyes to gently hold down the lower lashes. Use lash tape if needed to keep any stray lashes in place and maintain a clear working area.
Step 3: Prime for Retention
Use Wrap Perfecto to cleanse and rebalance the pH of the natural lashes. This step is essential for improving glue performance and ensuring strong lash retention. Allow the lashes to air dry before moving on.
Step 4: Prep Your Lash Strip with Boosters
Before fanning and application, prepare your C Curl Volume Lashes on the strip:
- Glue Control about 1mm above the base of the extensions to help prevent your beautiful fans from closing when the adhesive is applied.
- Adhesive Booster directly at the base of the extensions to speed up drying time.
*Let both products set for a few seconds before creating fans.
Step 5: Isolate and Apply Volume Fans
Use isolation tweezers to separate a single natural lash. With your volume tweezers, pick up a handcrafted fan of C Curl lashes, dip the base into adhesive, and place it 0.3–0.5 mm from the lash line without touching the skin. A small, clean adhesive bead ensures strong attachment and retention.
Step 6: Style with Soft Lift and Fullness
Continue placing your C Curl fans across the lash line, making sure they’re evenly spaced and securely bonded. The natural lift of C Curls gives a flattering, open-eye look with a fluffy, elegant finish—perfect for clients who want fullness with a soft curl.
Step 7: Final Inspection and Cure
Once the set is complete, inspect your work with a lash mirror—look for stickies, gaps, or uneven placements. After 3 minutes, gently wash the lashes using Superbonder Shield to fully cure the adhesive and help seal in long-lasting retention.
