Lash & Brow Serum Guide: How They Work, Which Type to Choose, and Using Them With Extensions
A lash and brow serum is a leave-on treatment you apply to the base of the lashes or brows each day. It's designed to condition the hairs and support stronger, fuller-looking lashes and brows over time. Serums are popular with clients who want more from their natural lashes. That includes clients whose lashes are thin after years of extensions or strip lashes, clients with sparse brows, and clients taking a break between sets. Lash and brow artists get asked about them all the time. But not all serums work the same way, and not all are suited to wearing with extensions. This guide explains the two main types, how to use a serum safely with lash extensions, and what results to realistically expect. Peptide vs Prostaglandin Serums: What's the Difference? Most lash and brow serums fall into one of two groups, depending on their key active ingredient.
